The National Team

The National Team is an invitation-only program. Prospective athletes are required to complete a skills evaluation; please submit your request below to schedule a session

The Madsand National Team is comprised of elite youth athletes who demonstrate advanced technical proficiency and the competitive drive to succeed on a national stage. Under the guidance of our premier coaching staff, these athletes undergo rigorous training designed to refine their skills and prepare them to compete against the highest level of competition in the country.

Admission to this program is by invitation only. To have your athlete’s skills evaluated by the Madsand staff, please follow the three steps below to register for a complimentary general practice and evaluation session. During this session, our coaches will assess your athlete's current skill level for potential placement.

Steps to register for a free evaluation session for your child

  1. Complete the Evaluation Request form below. This will allow us to learn about you and we will contact you if we have any additional questions.

  2. Create a “Madsand Volleyball - Player Evaluation - Guest Family” Membership (we use CourtReserve.com to manage our memberships)

    • To get started, please [click here to create your Player Evaluation - Guest Family membership]. When setting up your account in CourtReserve.com, please:

      • Register yourself as the primary account holder first.

      • Sign our facility waiver. (You will be prompted with a pop up window to sign)

      • Add your child to your family profile.

        • Hover over your name and click the My Family link.

        • Click Add New Family Member button.

        • Add your child and any additional family members. This membership comes with one complimentary practice credit know as a “Punch” in CourtReserve.com. The membership and punch will be active for 30 days.

  3. Register your child for an upcoming general practice / skill level evaluation in CourtReserve.com

    • When logged into CourtReserve.com, navigate to Events > Calendar to find a practice session that works for your family.

    • Once you’ve selected a session, proceed to register. At checkout, you’ll see a complimentary credit/punch already waiting in your account—just select that to complete your booking at no cost.

    • If you run into any hitches or can’t find a time that fits your schedule, please reach out at info@madsandvolleyball.com. We’re happy to help with registration or find the perfect time for your child’s skill-level evaluation!

FAQ’s

  • Whatever gym clothes they are comfortable in but be mindful of weather! The sand could be hot/cold so an old pair of socks are a good idea to have ready.

  • Next, we will work to coordinate your athlete’s schedule with our available practice sessions. Once we find a time that works for you, you can transition your membership to a monthly training plan for once or twice-weekly practices.

  • Not at all! The majority of Madsand athletes join our program individually and find partners by connecting with others during practice. However, if your child already has a preferred partner, we encourage them to create an Evaluation Membership and register for a session so they can train together!

  • Generally speaking, practices are held Monday - Thursday evenings but the available times are dependent on the results of the evaluation as the practice sessions are grouped based on level, age, established partnerships, and other factors. Once we complete the evaluation, we would see if your athletes availability aligns with the appropriate group before having you purchase a membership or package. The pricing for practices will range between $40-55 depending on which subscription or package of credits you choose.
